WilmerHale appoints IP litigator

WilmerHale has appointed a new special counsel, Quentin Palfrey, to the firm’s Boston office in the intellectual property litigation practice.

Palfrey arrives from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, where he was senior counsel to the secretary for policy and operations.

He previously spent two years as senior advisor for jobs and competitiveness in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, serving as lead White House policy staffer on a patent reform effort that led to the signing of the America Invents Act. He began his career as an associate at Cravath Swaine & Moore in New York.
