Ballard Spahr adds partners in Atlanta and DC

Ballard Spahr has recruited Wendy Choi and John Cuddihy as partners in the firm’s IP department.

Choi, who will be based in Atlanta, will be a member of the patents group, the chemical, biotechnology, and medical technology teams and the life sciences and technology group. She previously worked at the Atlanta office of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton. Before practising law, she was a research scientist in the polymer and plastics divisions at Rohm and Haas.

Cuddihy, who will be based in Washington, DC, will be a member of the IP litigation, antitrust and commercial litigation groups. He comes from the Washington, DC, office of Crowell & Moring and has a background in civil service.
