Wednesday October 10

General Court of the Court of Justice of the EU rules in Bimbo v OHMI – Panrico (BIMBO DOUGHNUTS); and Wessang v OHMI – Greinwald (star foods).

INTA is hosting a roundtable on the Philippines’ accession to the Madrid Protocol in Makati City.

The European Chamber of Commerce in China is holding a workshop “What's in a name? Branding and Trade Mark Protection in China” in Nanjing.

Meeting of the Locarno Union’s Committee of Experts begins in Geneva.

Two more days of meetings at WIPO in Geneva for: the PCT Committee for Technical Cooperation; the Singapore Treaty on the Law of Trademarks Assembly; the PCT Union – Assembly; the Assemblies of Member States of WIPO; the Lisbon Union – Assembly; the Hague Union – Assembly; the Madrid Union - Assembly; the Berne Union - Executive Committee; the Paris Union – Executive Committee; the WIPO General Assembly; and the WIPO Coordination Committee.

Thursday October 11

INTA’s two day “Trademarks in Transactions” conference will be held in Chicago.

INTA will host a conference, “Progress, Problems and Avoiding the Gaps – The OHIM and WIPO Systems After 15 Years” in Birmingham, UK.

The EPO’s Committee on Patent Law meets in Munich.

Saturday October 13

INTA will host a roundtable “Trademark Registration Procedures in the U.S. and E.U. and Working with Customs in India”, in Mumbai.

Sunday October 14

INTA’s three-day trade mark administrators conference starts on the 14th in Charlotte.

The INTA-USPTO Roundtable will take place in Charlotte.
