Looking ahead to the AIPPI Congress

If you are attending the AIPPI Congress in Rio de Janeiro next week, look out for the AIPPI Daily Report and visit our booth in the exhibition area

For the fifth time, we will be publishing the AIPPI Daily Report daily during the Congress, starting from next Monday.

The AIPPI Daily Report will include interviews with AIPPI leaders and others, reports on the education sessions, previews of the four working questions being debated at this year's Congress as well as photos, news and tips on things to do in Rio de Janeiro.

If you are attending the Congress, you can pick up your copy of the Daily Report from the hotel and exhibition area.

If not, you can read it online on managingip.com, where you can also see the newspapers published at the Boston, Paris, Seoul and Toronto meetings.

This year marks AIPPI's transition to an annual Congress, and comes as the association goes through some structural changes. One of these is the appointment of John Bochnovic as executive director. Bochnovic was formerly a partner of Smart & Biggar in Canada and was also AIPPI president 2012-2014. An interview with him will be published in Tuesday's issue of the Daily Report.

Managing IP will also be exhibiting at the Congress so do come along to booth 12 to meet our staff, find out more about our new products and services, and pick up sample copies of Managing IP magazine and the IP Stars directories.

Ahead of the Congress, Judge Richard Hacon (left) gave a speech to AIPPI's UK group in London last night. Read a report of the evening here.
