USPTO appoints AOL lawyer as general counsel

The USPTO has appointed AOL lawyer Sarah Harris as its general counsel

No start date has yet been set for Harris, AOL’s deputy counsel for intellectual property.

She will take over from former counsel Bernard Knight, who left in August 2013 to return to private practice.
