Fordham symposium to discuss USPTO, trade mark and copyright

An interesting range of discussions on recent developments in IP law will take place this Friday, November 14, at an event put on by the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and the Fordham IP Institute

The three panels will cover different aspects of intellectual property – the USPTO, trade mark and copyright.

The first panel looks particularly timely. It is called “The US Patent and Trademark Office: A patent cemetery? Law abider? Or both?” and will feature Cravath’s David Kappos, PTAB Judge Thomas Giannetti and others.

The other two panels are “Trademarks, New Practitioners and Solo Attorneys: What does it take to hit the ground running?” and “The Courts and Copyright: Making sense of it all”.

The event will take place at the Leon Lowenstein Academic Building on 113 West 60th Street, New York and starts at 8.30. You can see the full agenda here.
