Sidley Austin hires Baik from Reed Smith

Steven Baik has joined Sidley Austin as a partner in Palo Alto as a member of the intellectual property litigation practice

Before joining Sidley Austin, Baik was partner at Reed Smith in Palo Alto, where he was a trial lawyer focused on intellectual property litigation.

Baik has litigated cases that involved a range of technologies, including semiconductors, semiconductor manufacturing, power electronics, software, wired and wi-fi networking devices, and semiconductor memory technologies. He also has experience in intellectual property licensing.

Baik also served as in-house counsel of a major semiconductor company earlier in his career.
