Steptoe & Johnson opens Palo Alto office

Steptoe & Johnson is opening an office in Palo Alto, California, and has hired patent litigator William Abrams as its managing partner

The firm has also hired Sanjeet Dutta, as a partner in the new office, and Boyd Cloern as a partner in its Washington office. All three of the new partners previously worked at King & Spalding.

The new office in Palo Alto expand the firm’s capabilities in practice areas including IP, cybersecurity, tax, litigation and technology.
