Honigman Miller adds two new partners

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn has boosted its IP litigation group with two new partners.

Jamal Edwards joins the firm’s Detroit office. His IP litigation practice will focus on health care, technology and financial services.

Edwards has worked as a CEO for a health centre and an executive consultant for two start-up companies in health care and financial services. He is a former partner of Kirkland & Ellis, a former regional counsel for the IBM Corporation in Chicago and a former executive with Equifax.

James Kamp joins the firm’s Oakland County office from the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office of Rader Fishman & Grauer. He has practised law for over 30 years, focusing on IP litigation, patent prosecution, patent opinions and licensing, and strategic counselling, particularly in biotechnology and life sciences.
