Survey: what are your views on new gTLDs?

Managing IP is asking brand owners to answer 10 questions about the new gTLD programme that was approved in June 2011

The anonymous survey follows recent criticism of the programme from advertising organisations which have called for Icann to bring it to a halt.

The results will be featured in the next three issues of Managing IP magazine as part of a special focus on new gTLDs. The special focus will also include interviews.

The survey is aimed at brand owners. It asks whether their company will be applying to operate a new domain and if so why (or why not). Further considerations, such as running an industry-related domain, are also asked for, along with any criticisms of the process.

The survey should take less than five minutes to complete.

It can be found here.
