Norton Rose adds Ogilvy, Deneys Rietz

Ogilvy Renault has combined with Norton Rose Group to form Norton Rose OR, effective today.

The combination results in a firm of 2,600 lawyers with 39 offices throughout Europe, Asia Pacific, Canada, Africa and the Middle East.

Law firm Deneys Reitz has also joined Norton Rose Group in South Africa.

Norton Rose OR managing partner John Coleman said the expanded firm marks the “first truly global legal practice in Canada”. The additions will bolster Norton Rose’s strength in pharmaceuticals and life sciences.
