Locke Lord adds partner in DC

Michael Bednarek has joined the Washington DC office of Locke Lord as partner in the intellectual property department

Bednarek has more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property law, and focuses his practice on patent, trade secret, trade mark and copyright litigation.

Michael regularly advises clients across industries including information technology, software, consumer electronics, computer, automotive and financial services on their global patent strategies.

He was previously at Axinn Veltrop & Harkripder, which he joined in 2011. Before that, he was a co-leader of Shearman and Sterling’s IP group.
