Supreme Court to patent system: You are not special
The US Supreme Court's decision in Hyatt v Kappos sends a clear message to the patent system that it is not special, one lawyer told Managing IP
In Kappos v Hyatt, the Supreme Court said today there are no limits beyond those specified for all litigation on a patent applicant’s ability to introduce new evidence when appealing a USPTO decision in a civil appeal.
