Interview: why collecting societies need a code
As the UK government consults on a code of conduct for collecting societies, Brigid Simmonds of the British Beer & Pub Association explains why she wants simplification
On Wednesday the UK government announced it will consult over introducing voluntary codes of conduct for collecting societies, setting minimum standards of fairness, transparency and good governance, following a proposal made by the Hargreaves review earlier this year.
