Google, Oracle CEOs ordered to mediate
The CEOs of Oracle and Google have been told to mediate their patent dispute in person in front of a magistrate judge, underscoring the billion-dollar stakes involved
On Friday, US Magistrate Judge Paul Grewal ordered the two Larrys – Oracle’s Larry Ellison and Google’s Larry Page – to attend a settlement conference on September 19 to discuss Google Android’s alleged infringement of Oracle’s Java patents.
