DHL: Trade mark penalties apply across the EU
The Court of Justice of the EU has ruled that fines imposed by one member state for trade mark infringement should be enforced similarly in every other jurisdiction where infringement has occurred
This will make it easier for brand owners to stop infringement across the EU, and lead to the export of particular forms of penalty and fine for that infringement.
