Court denies landmark number application
The Court of Justice yesterday denied the registration of 1000 as a Community trade mark, in a test case for using numbers as marks
The Court upheld the ruling of the General Court, made in November 2009, that Polish publisher Technopol could not register the mark 1000 for magazines and newspapers.
