European Commission targets ISPs to tackle IP abuse

The European Commission wants to “explore how to involve” ISPs more closely in the fight against IP abuse

The suggestion came in a report released December 22 examining the application of an EU Directive (2004/48/EC) on the enforcement of IP rights, which was implemented to harmonise minimum laws for member states in this regard.
