Google to help improve EPO translations
Google will work with the European Patent Office to improve machine translations, after the two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding today
Under the deal, the EPO will use the technology behind Google Translate to translate patents into the official languages of its 38 members. If it is successful, the project could also expedite the launch of a single EU patent.
