Following the success of last year’s events we are running two more conferences on European patent reform, in New York on December 8 and San Jose on December 10. Both are free for in-house counsel

The New York event takes place at Convene Times Square. It opens with an update on the Unitary Patent and Unified Patent Court. Philip Strassburger of Purdue Pharma has recently been added to this panel. Other sessions cover topics such as patent enforcement, FRAND licensing, forum shopping, opposition proceedings and alternative IP strategies.

The mix of industry and private practice speakers includes in-house counsel from IBM, Intellectual Ventures, Vringo, Shire Pharmaceuticals, Avon, Johnson & Johnson and Mondelez Global.

The San Jose event on December 10 is at the Fairmont San Jose Hotel features speakers from 3IP, Zonare, Inventergy, Google, Broadcom, Bio-Rad Laboratories and DuPont Industrial Biosciences.

Mike Willardson of SLAC National Accelerator Laboratories is the most recently added speaker.
