IP practitioners mull judicial shake-up to ease recruitment crisis
Survey respondents are not convinced that the England and Wales High Court has the resources to deal with future IP cases, yet lawyers and experts are divided on the best methods to improve recruitment
UK lawyers, academics and judges say there are not enough IP specialists on the bench to manage future cases, but largely reject the idea of combating the recruitment crisis by introducing the career-judge system used in most European countries.
