US patent litigation down 27% in July but new multi-filers debut
Following the busiest half year on record for US patent lawsuits filed, July was quieter than May and June. But a number of new filers of multiple lawsuits emerged during the month
According to Docket Navigator, 478 US patent lawsuits were filed in July. This was down 27% on the June figure of 654 but up 14% on the 420 in July last year.
