Patent litigator Vishal Gupta has joined Steptoe & Johnson’s New York office as a partner

Gupta was previously at Fitzpatrick Cella Harper & Scinto.

He has litigated patent litigation cases from pre-suit investigations through multiple trials and appeals, and also has extensive experience in patent-related transactions and strategic counseling.

His practice covers technologies including pharmaceutical compounds and formulations, manufacturing processes, medical devices, and electromechanical apparatus.
