USPTO hires Micron patent counsel to run Denver office

The USPTO has hired Russell Slifer as regional director for its Denver, Colorado office

For the past eight years, Slifer served as the chief patent counsel for Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho. He also was a design engineer for Honeywell and spent more than nine years in private practice in Minnesota helping high technology clients build patent portfolios.

The USPTO is opening its permanent satellite office in Denver on June 30.
