Samsung’s Frand tactics under scrutiny in EU
Europe’s antitrust watchdog has asked Samsung and Apple to explain how they enforce standards-essential patents, putting the spotlight on tactics used by the Korean company
The European Commission has confirmed that it has contacted the two companies and says that such requests for information are standard procedure in antitrust investigations to allow it to establish the relevant facts in a case.
