ISP liability case on hold

A decision in a dispute between the film industry and the UK’s biggest internet service provider is on hold pending the Court of Justice of the EU’s judgment in L’Oréal v eBay

The High Court in London heard arguments last Tuesday in a case in which the Motion Picture Association (MPA) is seeking an injunction forcing BT to block access to Newzbin2, which provides links to pirated films and TV programmes
