Awapatent establishes Greater China presence

Ai-Leen Lim has been tapped to head Awapatent’s new Asian branch, AWA Asia

Lim will act as CEO and principal counsel for AWA Asia, which has offices in Beijing and Hong Kong. She was formerly a partner at Bird & Bird, where she headed the Greater China trade mark portfolio management practice.

In addition to AWA Asia, Awapatent has also established AWA IP (Beijing), a licensed Chinese trade mark agency that can practice directly in China before the trade mark office.
