Click here to review the full agenda. As India’s sophistication in IP protection grows stronger year-on-year so too do the contentions that accompany IP ownership in the region. India occupies a complex position, not un-noticed by the global media, where a desire to grow successful businesses and a flourishing economy, as well as to accelerate innovation and R&D, must be balanced with very real public interest and health concerns locally. This forum seized this exciting opportunity to tackle the questions which arise when IP and Innovation must be fostered and enhanced whilst ensuring the best possible outcomes for protecting the interests of India’s population. The focus was to make the very most of the opportunities for establishing a highly effective and beneficial patent and IP system in India.
The programme addressed the major issues at hand and encouraged intelligent debate on all of the pertinent topics and technical matters from the varied perspectives of a wide range of stakeholders. In addition to this, MIP brought to the agenda its global expertise so as to offer local corporations cutting-edge guidance on how best to protect and build business and brand in Europe and The US. The MIP India IP & Innovation Forum brought together world leaders in corporations, public health, the sciences and academia and, of course, local and global leading legal experts to discuss and impart valuable knowledge.
