Espinel grilled by Senate on IP plans

Victoria Espinel was questioned yesterday by the US Senate Judiciary Committee during an oversight hearing on her newly-created role as the so-called IP Tsar
Espinel was confirmed as the US Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC) in December last year.
Earlier this week, she released her strategic plan to bolster IP enforcement coordination among US government agencies. She formally submitted the plan to Congress yesterday.
