IP5 to speed up standardisation projects

The heads of the world’s five largest IP offices are to accelerate work on the foundation projects designed to increase worksharing and tackle patent backlogs

The so-called IP5, which comprises the USPTO, EPO, JPO, KIPO and SIPO, met in Guilin last week with WIPO director general Francis Gurry attending as an observer.
