Apple pays $25m to settle Network-1 patent litigation
Apple will pay Network-1 Technologies $25 million to settle subsidiary Mirror World Technologies’ patent litigation in the Eastern District of Texas
In a statement Network-1 revealed that Apple will receive a non-exclusive license to US Patent No. 6,006,227 for its full term, which expired in 2016, along with “certain rights to other patents in Network-1's portfolio”.
