Online courts and the future of IP litigation


Are online courts the future for IP disputes? That was the topic of the annual Collyer Bristow IP debate between Tim Bamford and Karen Fong. They reveal some snippets from their diaries in the months leading up to the big fight

Chaired by Mr Justice Birss of the High Court in London, this year's debate considered whether online courts of the type proposed in a review of the UK civil justice system could be adapted to resolve IP disputes.
