BakerHostetler adds three in Atlanta from Ballard Spahr

BakerHostetler has hired Katrina Quicker, Michael Riesen, and Jason Grier in its intellectual property group in its Atlanta office

All three join from Ballard Spahr. Quicker is as partner. Riesen and Grier are associates.

Quicker focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation before federal district and appellate courts, as well as before tribunals such as the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also serves as special assistant attorney general for Georgia for intellectual property matters.

BakerHostetler merged with national IP firm Woodcock Washburn at the end of last year, which added nearly 70 IP attorneys. It also added a three-member IP group in Chicago in February.
