$185,000 to apply for your own gTLD
The internet authority ICANN has set out how applicants will be able to apply to register new top-level domains, as part of plans that could see up to 500 new TLDs launched in the next two years
At last weeks ICANN meeting in Cairo, ICANNs provisional proposals were discussed, though all are subject to consultation over the next few months.
The likely application fee at this stage is $185,000, which must be paid...
