Goats eating grass on a restaurant roof might be a surreal basis for a trade mark infringement claim, but it was just one of the many examples given in a session on non-traditional marks at the AIPPI Congress this week
The workshop first focused on the difference between the US
and Europe for filing three-dimensional marks, but also looked
at the world of colour, scents, sounds and buildings - which is
where the goats came in.
