enforcement, views on the Unitary Patent and UPC and views on
preparation for the new system, including opting-out

found surprising support for the proposed system but a need for
more information on costs.
Since then, there have been important developments,
including regarding the renewal an court fees. We will update
that survey in the light of recent developments and run it
again before the summer.
A survey of in-house counsel commissioned by Allen &
Overy, published in June last year,
found that 49% would opt-in at least some of their patents
to the UPC.
