Webinars on Myanmar and Brazil

James Nurton

Managing IP has two webinars coming up focusing on the key emerging markets of Myanmar and Brazil

The first takes place this Thursday at 2pm London time and is titled "A guide to IP protection and strategic investment in Myanmar".

It will feature panellists Fabrice Mattei and Roe Mynn Thu of Rouse, who will discuss recent legislative developments as well as practical issues for rights owners investing in the country.

On Monday October 28 Managing IP will host a webinar on IP litigation in Brazil. It will feature Ricardo Pinho of Guerra IP in Brazil, Colette Durst of Tyco and Sherry Rollo of Husch Blackwell.

The speakers will discuss issues surrounding IP litigation, including costs, timing and strategy, as well as recent case studies.

Both webinars can be accessed from your desk, and are free of charge. But you do need to register in advance.

Readers interested in litigation in Brazil, and other countries in Latin America, may also be interested in the roundtable discussion on the subject featured in our recently published Americas Focus 2013.
