New Balance scores win in Chinese trade mark infringement case

New Balance has won in a trade mark infringement dispute in a first instance decision from the Suzhou Intermediate People’s Court. The court ordered the defendants to pay damages and legal costs of Rmb10 million ($1.5 million) in a case involving the use of the shoemaker’s slanting logo
