The Top 250 Women in IP (2017)

Managing Intellectual Property

Managing Intellectual Property IP STARS has published its annual list of the leading female IP practitioners in private practice

Welcome to the 2017 edition of IP STARS Top 250 Women in IP. This list recognises female IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year. All the women listed here are also individual IP stars in their respective jurisdictions. Congratulations to all who made this year’s list.

Two women in this year’s list, Erika Arner and Daralyn Durie, won the Outstanding IP Litigator Award at Managing IP’s North America Awards ceremony in March 2017. In our latest Women in IP interview series, Durie spoke to Natalie Rahhal about her career path and the unique challenges for a woman litigator.

Methodology

This list is based on the global research for our legal directory IP STARS, the definitive guide to the world’s leading IP firms and practitioners. The methodology includes interviews and surveys of IP practitioners in private practice and in-house. Detailed information about IP STARS and its methodology can be found here. You can see copies of the IP STARS Handbooks at booth F23-25 in the Exhibition Hall in the Fira Gran Via at the INTA Annual Meeting in Barcelona.
