K&L Gates adds IP litigator

K&L Gates has boosted its IP litigation practice with the addition of Jan Weir as a partner in the firm’s Orange County office. Weir joins from Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth.
Weir has a background in molecular biology and biochemistry and litigates patent, trade mark, copyright, and unfair competition disputes, including Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigation arising under the US Hatch-Waxman Act.
