The GNSO council has delayed voting on whether VeriSign should introduce a “thick” Whois model to its gTLD databases until Icann’s Costa Rica meeting in March
On today’s conference call, several council members opposed voting on the policy development process (PDP) motion until they meet face-to-face in San Jose. They said that there was too much work going on in the Icann community at the moment, including contract negotiations between Icann staff and registrars.
