Kazakhstan wins its own Cyrillic domain

Icann has awarded Kazakhstan a new Cyrillic domain – қаз (kaz).

The Association of IT Companies of Kazakhstan will sponsor the new country-code top-level domain (ccTLD).

Dot-kaz will join the current ccTLD for Kazakhstan, dot-kz, which is managed by KazNIC.
