Neustar was among a number of gTLD applicants whose online application disappeared yesterday for about two hours before Icann resolved the problem.
The registry’s executives Jeff Neuman and Ken Hansen said on twitter that the company’s .neustar application had vanished from the TLD Application System (TAS). They said that other applicants had also reported problems.
Icann said a display issue was to blame and said it resolved the problem within two hours. All missing information was recovered, according to Icann.
TAS is the online system that gTLD applicants use to submit their bids. Applicants must register within the system by March 29.
The application period closes on April 12.
