Rapid-takedown procedure popular with .xxx complainants

Businesses and individuals worried about alleged .xxx cybersquatters have filed more complaints under one of the specific .xxx arbitration systems than under the UDRP

The National Arbitration Forum (NAF) in the US operates both the rapid evaluation service (RES) and the charter eligibility dispute resolution policy (CEDRP). These two mechanisms are only available for .xxx disputes but complainants can also use the UDRP or litigation in court.

Kristine Dorrain at the NAF told Managing IP that the RES has received around a dozen complaints since December 5 2011. But she could not disclose whether arbitrators had denied any of the complaints...
