Germany and China launch PPH

IP owners in Germany and China can now apply to have their patent applications examined more quickly after the German Patent and Trademark Office and China’s State Intellectual Property Office launched a patent prosecution highway yesterday.
The heads of the two offices signed a deal to create a PPH between the two countries in October. SIPO launched its first PPH on November 1 with the JPO. It has since begun a pilot Paris...
