Irish office gets new controller

Martin Shanagher has taken over the post of Controller of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks at the Irish Patents Office following the retirement of Eamonn Laird last week.

Shanagher was assistant secretary at the Office and will act as controller until the government makes a permanent appointment.
