When a business goes bust, it is the employees and investors who bear the brunt. But pity too the trade mark attorneys who find that their client lists have suddenly shrink

This month has seen Kodak file for bankruptcy protection in the US and ailing UK retail chains slip into administration or sold.

TLT Solicitors, a Bristol-based firm, filed Community trade marks and UK marks for clothing chain Peacocks, headquartered in Cardiff, which went into administration last week.

Squire, Sanders & Dempsey filed marks on behalf of Past Times, a homeware...
