Singapore signs agreement with WIPO

The IP Office of Singapore and the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center have signed an MOU to establish a joint dispute resolution procedure
IPOS chief executive Tan Yih San and WIPO director general Francis Gurry signed the MOU on September 28. It allows IP disputes filed in Singapore to be resolved through mediation using WIPO rules.
The Singapore office of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre opened in January 2010.
