The .asia registry is opening a 70-day sunrise period on May 11, for registrations its first three internationalised domain names.
Registrations will be available in the second-level in Chinese, Japanese and Korean scripts.
The sunrise period is for trade mark holders and for relevant government agencies to claim their domains.
All second-level registrations in the Latin-based ASCII .asia domains with Romanised or transliterated names will be have first option on the IDN version.
