Birss pitches for work at Patents County Court

A packed room listened intently last night as Judge Colin Birss reflected on his first month sitting in London’s Patents County Court, which is under new rules
"I'm here to make a pitch for your business," an energetic Birss told the room of IP practitioners, at a seminar organised by the UK chapter of the AIPPI. But he warned "the court will transfer out cases not suited to it".
